1. Install Savvy

  1. Windows: run the .exe. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. The app isn't code-signed yet.
  2. Mac: open the .dmg and drag Savvy to Applications. The app isn't signed by Apple yet, so if macOS says it's damaged or can't be opened, run this once in Terminal, then open Savvy again:
    xattr -cr /Applications/Savvy.app

2. First launch

  1. Savvy sets itself up: its engine, then its AI. Click Set Up Now and Savvy installs Ollama (free) and downloads the AI model that fits your computer, 2 to 6 GB, once. Leave it a few minutes.
  2. Click the notch at the top of your screen, then Settings. Enter your Oracle URL, username and password. They stay on your computer.
  3. Shortcut: Alt + Space (Windows) or ⌥ Space (Mac) opens Savvy.

Works from 4 GB of memory; Savvy picks a smaller model and lighter visuals on smaller computers by itself. On iPhone or iPad, open this page on a computer to install Savvy for now.
